Newport News Crash Injures Four
Four people are recovering following an accident last week in Newport News. The December 29, 2016 accident occurred on Warwick Boulevard around 5:00 in the evening. Police say a minivan headed north on Warwick crossed into oncoming traffic. The van struck a sedan going south head on.
Emergency workers were called to the scene where they treated four people for injuries. All four were taken to the hospital, but one was considered to be in critical condition.
Head-on collisions are some of the most dangerous kinds of accidents. When two vehicles are barreling forward with their full weights behind them, striking anything is bound to end in disaster – especially when you’re colliding with another vehicle in movement. Indeed, head-on collisions are the most deadly kind of crash.
We send our best wishes to the victims recovering from this scary incident. The days and weeks following a serious car crash can be overwhelming even when a person is left physically unscathed. When a victim is injured in a wreck, that stress can multiply. Hospital stays, missed days of work and long-term treatment plans all add up.
We encourage anyone involved in this crash to reach out to our team for a free, no-risk consultation. No victim should be expected to pay out of pocket for the injuries they sustained because of the negligence of another driver.
