The Investigation Continues

There’s a lot we don’t know about what happened leading up to this crash. Given the spare details we have available, it’s safe to assume that the driver was not in a good place emotionally. As investigators continue looking into this incident, we’ll likely learn more about his head space leading up to the collision. While drinking and driving often grabs headlines and texting and driving is at the top of everyone’s list of driving woes, emotional driving can be just as dangerous.

The Dangers of Emotional Driving

When a person is upset, they cannot perform tasks the way they normally might be able to. That’s why it’s so important to clear your head and take several deep breaths before climbing behind the wheel when upset. Even if you believe you can handle difficult emotions when driving, it’s best to pull over to resolve issues rather than take your frustrations out on the road.
