2 Injured When Cars Collide, Overturn in Hampton

Virginia Car Accident Lawyer - Richard SerpeTwo women are recovering after a scary collision in Hampton this week. The November 28, 2017 accident occurred around 10 AM, when two crossover vehicles collided at the intersection of Power Plant Way and W. Mercury Boulevard. At least one of the cars involved rolled over in the crash. Victims needed firefighters to cut them out of the vehicle to be rescued. Two women involved in the wreck were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There has been no word given on the cause of the crash or whether any of the drivers involved will be charged. Undoubtedly, there will be many difficult questions for investigators to work to solve in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, the accident victims likely have many questions about their rights and legal options. A confidential consultation with a compassionate, knowledgeable Virginia car accident attorney can clarify their pathway towards justice.

Because the women involved in the wreck sustained injuries, they may decide to seek damages from the at-fault driver. Victims in these kinds of accidents often receive settlements to cover the costs of medical bills, wages they lost out on while recuperating from the wreck, along with compensation for their pain and suffering. The psychological damage of a crash can last far longer than the physical injuries, so the cost of counseling or therapy can also be included in the settlement.

We send our best wishes to the victims and hope they both have speedy, complete recoveries.
