Fatal Warren County Va car & train collision

According to the Northern Virginia Daily, a woman was killed yesterday after she decided to drive around a crossing arm to cross a set of train tracks that cross Fairground road, colliding with a Norfolk Southern train.
 
Virginia State Police stated that the train's operator did sound the horn and use the brakes.

The woman was not wearing a sealtbelt and was ejected out of the vehicle.  There were no other passengers in the vehicle, which was struck on the passengers side. 

The accident occurred in the Rockland area and Warren County Police recieved the call about 3:30 PM.
