Virginia motorcycle fatalities increase

According to a DMV spokesperson, there has been an increase of motorcyclists traveling on Virginia's roads which has contributed to an increase in fatal accidents.

When comparing the 2009 and 2010, there has been an 19% increase in accident fatalities with 38 motorcyclist being killed within the first 6 months of this year.  

In 2009, Virginia saw 71 deaths and 1,506 injures involving motorcyclists.
