Virginia Beach Teen killed in Charles City Car Accident

Tyler Cassell of Virginia Beach was killed in a car accident Saturday, December 12th in Charles City, Virginia. Tyler was only 17-years-old.

A Charles City County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to pull over Nicholas Glover, the driver of a 2000 Audi A4, for reckless driving. The driver of the Audi, which Tyler Cassell was a passenger of, continued driving down Route 106 at a very high rate of speed. Eventually the deputy lost the vehicle, however another motorist that saw the Audi crash flagged him down.

According to Wavy10, medics pronounced Tyler Cassell dead at the scene. Nicholas Glover was flown to VCU Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

Police are saying that alcohol and speed were factors in the accident and charges are pending against Glover.
