Driver Runs Over Motorcyclist and then Crashes into Bank in Newport News

Oleg Khovanskiy, 23, ran over a biker in a parking lot and then crashed into a Newport News bank around 11:30 PM last night.  

According to WVEC.com, off duty officers at a nearby club saw the accident and ran over to help the biker.  They yelled for Khovanskiy to stop however, he turned the corner and crashed into a bank.

The motorcyclist was treated for a broken leg.  Khovanskiy was taken to the hospital for facial injuries.

Khovanskiy is being charged in Hampton for felony hit and run personal injury.  The incident is still under investigation and it is unsure if he'll have charges in Newport News.
