Two bicyclists were struck by a car while riding down J. Clyde Morris Blvd in Newport News Sunday, October 12. Around 2 a.m., a Dominion Power employee, who saw the cyclists stayed with both men until paramedics arrived.
A side view mirror that belonged to a Saturn was found at the scene by police, but no other evidence was found.
The cyclist from Newport News was hospitalized for a broken leg and other minor injuries. The other cyclist, who was from Chesapeake, has been treated and released.
