Two Bicyclists Injured in Hit and Run

Two bicyclists were struck by a car while riding down J. Clyde Morris Blvd in Newport News Sunday, October 12.  Around 2 a.m., a Dominion Power employee, who saw the cyclists stayed with both men until paramedics arrived.

A side view mirror that belonged to a Saturn was found at the scene by police, but no other evidence was found.

The cyclist from Newport News was hospitalized for a broken leg and other minor injuries.  The other cyclist, who was from Chesapeake, has been treated and released.
